Convert Windows Server 2019 Evaluation to Standard

In this article we would like to inform you about how to convert an evaluation version into a fully-fledged standard version.

Open the command prompt (CMD) with administrator rights.
Please enter the following: DISM /Online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:N69G4-B89J2-4G8F4-WWYCC-J464C /AcceptEula
The above product key is a generic key directly from Microsoft that upgrades Evaluation Server to the Standard version.
Restart the computer by typing "Y".
The computer will now perform the necessary steps for the upgrade.
The server is not activated yet. This is done using the product key you received from us.
To activate, open the command prompt (CMD) again with administrator rights. Enter the following: slmgr /ipk <product key from us> and press "Enter" The product key will now be installed.
Now enter the following: slmgr /ato

The server should now display "Standard" and be activated!
