Eset - Installation Guide

The installation instructions apply to the following versions:

    ✔ ESET NOD32 Antivirus
    ✔ ESET Internet Security
    ✔ ESET Smart Security Premium

Step 1

In order for an error-free installation to take place, you must uninstall all other pre-installed antivirus programs from your computer. This step is necessary because otherwise ESET cannot be installed.

Step 2

Now go to our download page via our download link and click on Download.

Step 3

You will be referred to the ESET web page. Now click DOWNLOAD NOW.

Step 4

In the next window you can choose for which device you want to download the antivirus software. 

1. Download for Windows
2. Download for Mac
3. Download for Android

Step 5

Now go to the Explorer in the respective operating system and then to the Downloads folder. There you can find the installation file of ESET. Double-click on it to start the exe.

Step 6

Now click Yes to allow changes to be made to your device.

Step 7

Now select your desired language and click Next.

Step 8

Now agree to the privacy policy.

Step 9

If you already have an ESET account, you can log in and follow the next steps. Otherwise, you can click Skip Login and continue the installation. 

Step 10

Under License Key, enter the product key and then click Next.

Step 11

Now click Next to activate the license.

Step 12

Now select the following items: ESET LiveGrid - Activate System (recommended) and Check for Potentially Unwanted Applications.

Step 13

Now select the option No, I do not want to participate in the program.

Step 14

The installation has now been completed successfully. Now click Done to complete the installation.

Step 15

Click Help and Support in the program to see that the license is activated

Your antivirus program has now been successfully installed, activated and your device is now protected.
