Install Windows 10/11 on Mac with M1 chip - What is a Windows ARM version?

Do you want to install Windows 10 or Windows 11 on your Mac system under Parallels Desktop?

If you own a Mac with M1 chip, you will face a problem. The "normal" Windows ISO files are not suitable for the new Apple M1 chip. The M1 chip is based on the ARM architecture, with this the standard Windows versions are not compatible. You will get an error message when you try to install.

For this reason, there are special Windows ARM versions. Should you find in our store ae Windows 10 or Windows 11 version, you have automatically received a download link for the corresponding ARM version. In the download area the version is also marked as "ARM".

With the right version, you can easily install Windows on your Mac with M1 chip.

WICHTIG: The Windows 10 ARM version is only available in English. Windows 11 ARM is available in German and English.
